Broadsight Systems [hereafter “BSI”] shares your concerns about the protection of your personal information and is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Statement sets out the basis on which we will process any personal information that we may collect about you as a visitor to any of CBC’s or the BSI websites including broadsightsystems.com, ganzsecurity.com, ganzcortrol.com, computar.com, cbcamerica.com or premises, or as a contact at one of our customers, suppliers, or other business partners. This Privacy Statement does not apply to the collection or processing of personal data by any other member of the CBC Group.

INFORMATION THAT YOU GIVE US
This is information about you that you give to us directly, for example, by completing a form or submitting an inquiry on one of our websites, giving us a business card (or similar), or corresponding with us by telephone, post, email, or otherwise. Information collected may include, for example, your name, address, email address and telephone number, information about your business relationship with BSI, and information about your professional role, background, and interests.
If you exchange emails, telephone conversations, or other electronic communications with our employees and other staff members, our information technology systems will record details of those conversations, sometimes including their content. Some of our premises have video surveillance systems that may record you if you visit our premises, for security and safety purposes.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT AUTOMATICALLY
When you visit one of our websites, it will automatically collect some information about you and your visit, including the Internet Protocol (IP) address used to connect your device to the Internet, your browser type and version, the pages on our website that you visit, and the referring URL. to operate, administer and improve our websites and premises and other aspects of how we conduct our operations;

From time to time, we may need to review information about you held in our systems – including the contents of and other information related to your emails and other communications with us – for compliance and business-protection purposes, as described above. This may include reviews for disclosure of information relevant to litigation and reviews of records relevant to internal or external regulatory or criminal investigations. To the extent permitted by applicable law, these reviews will be conducted reasonably and proportionately and approved at an appropriate level of management. DISCLOSURE AND INTERNATIONAL TRANSFER OF YOUR INFORMATION
BSI is not in the business of selling personal information about our users to third parties. However, we may disclose information about you, including personal information, to other members of the CBC Group and/or for the purposes described above. These disclosures may involve transferring your personal information outside of the United States. You should be aware that this may include transfers to countries outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”), which do not have similarly strict data privacy laws. Our websites are hosted in the United States and are generally intended for United States visitors. BSI’s website is maintained for the purpose of selling and marketing products and services to organizations and individuals in the United States. Collection and storage of personal information related to any data subject in the European Union (“EU”) or European Economic Area (“EEA”) are minimal and incidental.

A business subject to California Civil Code section 1798.83 and/or California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) is required to disclose to its California customers, upon request, the identity of any third parties to whom the business has disclosed personal information within the previous calendar year, along with the types of personal information disclosed, for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes.
